A Hindu cleric, Swami Sarang, shared grief and sorrow with then Shia Muslims in Lucknow, India over the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
According to Shiawaves correspondent in Lucknow, Swami Sarang has taken part in the Husseini ritual of self-flagellation, Zanjeer, in a local Husseini mourning procession.
The cleric was quoted saying “ I am not a Muslim, but I am a Husseini person”.
