Canada Muslims publish handbook to keep Muslim youth from extremism
A new handbook aimed at preventing Canada’s Muslim youth from falling under the influence of terror organizations and being sent overseas to commit acts of violence was unveiled in Winnipeg (win a peg).
According to the publisher, the booklet is the first step in what will be a multi-pronged, national strategy aimed at preventing youth from joining terror groups.
The booklet has five sections, including a chapter devoted to challenging extremist messages of violence through the Qur’an and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his progeny. It also includes advice for parents that suggest their child may be following extremist teachings.
