A four-week nationwide sponsored bus campaign kicked offon Monday in the UK.

The buses carry the universal message of “O mankind spread peace and feed people” which is one of the central teachings of the Islamic religion.

The organisers aim to take this message to hearts and minds across the United Kingdom as part of an annual global campaign known as International Mawlid in the City, where Muslims around the world take to city centres and streets to hand out roses and spread a message of peace and understanding.

This is a world-wide, coordinated event that takes place every year, with the aim of inspiring Muslims of all ages and backgrounds to make a positive contribution in their own local communities.
