Pakistani Police said that Shia Muslim, Syed Zakir Husain, was on his way home after closing the workshop when two armed motorcyclists attacked him near Asia Restaurant in Pehlwan Goth and fled.

A mechanic who was also a member of Husseini Scouts was shot dead in an attack in Gulistan-i-Jauhar on Monday evening, according to police sources.
The sources concluded that “The motive for the murder appeared to be sectarian since the victim was also a member of Husseini Scouts.”
