Imam Hussein Media Group Begins Live Coverage of Arbaeen Pilgrimage
Imam Hussein Media Group announced yesterday, August 1, the commencement of live coverage of the Arbaeen pilgrimage across its various TV channels, highlighting the crucial role of media in shedding light on this significant religious event.
In a statement released by the media group’s administration, it was emphasized that “the Arbaeen pilgrimage is one of the largest human gatherings worldwide, unparalleled anywhere else.” The statement further noted that “Husseini media plays a vital role in introducing the world to the importance of this grand pilgrimage.”
For the past two days, the media group has been providing live streaming services to follow the pilgrims’ journey, which has begun from various regions across Iraq, including Basra Governorate, and extends to the holy city of Karbala. Additionally, the network is covering pilgrims arriving from Baghdad and Basra. The live broadcast encompasses all events and ceremonies related to the Arbaeen pilgrimage, allowing viewers to follow every detail of the event.
The media group also mentioned that millions of lovers of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and non-Muslims alike eagerly await the chance to witness the scenes of the blessed Husseini pilgrimage. Imam Hussein Media Group assured that its channels, which broadcast in five global languages: Arabic, English, Persian, Urdu, and Turkish, as well as the “Imam Hussein Live” channel, will provide round-the-clock coverage of the pilgrimage.
The statement indicated that “the media group’s channels and technical teams will continuously follow the events and activities related to the Arbaeen pilgrimage until the visitation date, which falls on the 20th of Safar.”
