Mourning processions march towards Holy Shrine of Sayyida Ruqayya on Martyrdom of Sayyeda Zainab

Mourning processions walked from Sayyeda Zainab district toward old Damascus where the Holy Shrine of Sayyida Ruqayya, peace be upon her, is located to extend their condolences on the painful martyrdom anniversary of Sayyeda Zainab, peace be upon her.

Sayyed Aref Nasrallah, director of the Public Relations office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Karbala, delivered a speech through which he thanked all those mourners for their participation and organization.

Nasrallah also called on the peoples of the world to support the victims of the recent earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria.
