—————————————-
Saudi Arabia is showcasing a range of digital applications and advanced technologies designed to facilitate access to religious services and enhance visitors’ spiritual experiences at its pavilion at an international exhibition, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Among the technologies on display is the Rushd application, which offers several electronic services, including a digital version of the Holy Quran, prayer times based on the Umm al-Qura calendar, and a tool for determining the direction of the Qibla. The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance is also presenting an application designed to verify quotations from Islamic texts, helping users authenticate religious references and access reliable information about Islamic teachings.
The pavilion also features a three-dimensional virtual experience introducing visitors to the different rituals and stages of Hajj through digital technology. In addition, virtual reality experiences allow visitors to explore the Grand Mosque in Mecca and the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina through immersive digital presentations.
