Saudi authorities arrest over 460 for violating Hajj entry rules in Holy Makkah

Saudi authorities have intercepted 436 unauthorized Hajj groups and arrested 462 individuals for attempting to smuggle pilgrims into Makkah, according to the Ministry of Interior. Security forces continue enforcing crowd movement and Hajj regulations through Dul Hijjah 14.

Saudi authorities urged pilgrims to follow assigned schedules for rituals and luggage transport. Meanwhile, a new digital tool launched by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah helps pilgrims monitor real-time crowd density in the Grand Mosque. Over 5.5 million scans of the Nusuk card and 35,000 guided pilgrimages were recorded.

The Ministry of Health reported a 90% drop in heat exhaustion cases compared to last year, with 362 cases treated and over 125,000 health services delivered. On transport, more than 1 million pilgrims used the Mashaer train. The bus network operated 430 stations, while six airports were prepared for pilgrim departures.
