Security Forces Eliminate 22 Terrorists in Operations in Northwest Pakistan

Pakistani security forces have reported the elimination of 22 terrorists and the injury of 18 others during a series of intelligence-led operations spanning over a month in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa district, Xinhua reported citing a statement by the military on Thursday.

The operations commenced on December 14 of the previous year in the Tirah area of the district, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media branch of the Pakistani military.

These actions were initiated in response to recent terrorist attacks targeting both security personnel and innocent civilians in the region, as stated by the ISPR. The military emphasized that operations will persist until lasting peace is established in the area.
