Kuwaiti Court Hands Down 10th Grader 5-Year Imprisonment for ISIS bomb plot on Husseiniya

The Juvenile Court in Kuwait handed down a five-year prison sentence to a tenth-grade student for his involvement with Daesh and his attempt to bomb a Husseiniya in the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate, Middle East Monitor reported yesterday.

According to the source, the court acquitted the defendant of damaging the country’s interests, marking this ruling as unprecedented.

During the trial, the student stated that he had not taken any actual steps towards his plan, did not possess any explosives, and had not advanced to the stage of carrying out the attack.
