After being destroyed by terrorists, reconstruction of two shrines of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) began in Mosul

A press conference was held regarding the holy shrines in the Iraqi city of Mosul, after the reconstruction of the shrines of Lady Fatima, daughter of Imam Hussein, peace be upon them, and the shrine of Yahya Abu al-Qasim, peace be upon him.

MP Waad Muhammad Qaddo said in a press conference attended by Nineveh deputies and some members of the Shia Endowment, that “after inquiring about the Department of Shia Shrines and the Shia Endowment, it became clear to us that there are shrines in the center of Mosul city belonging to the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, including the shrine of Lady Fatima, daughter of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and the shrine of Yahya  Abu al-Qasim in the city center of Mosul.”

Qaddo added that a group of donors started the reconstruction process after it was completely blown up by the ISIS terrorist organization, as they started to rehabilitate it after obtaining official approvals.

He explained that the terrorists turned this honorable and blessed place into a dumping ground, and carried out some transgressions on the shrines by sending some gangs with the aim of demolishing the graves again, while a lawsuit was submitted to the judiciary.
