Chinese workers participate in providing services to pilgrims of Arbaeen
After several years of their presence in Iraq, the Chinese workers and engineers saw with their own eyes the generosity and altruism of the Iraqis during the Arbaeen Pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), which motivated them to participate also by providing services to the pilgrims walking towards holy Karbala.
The Chinese working on engineering and construction projects in the provinces of Basra, Wasit, Karbala, and others, began setting more than one Husseini service Mawkib this year on the path of pilgrims.
The members of the Mawkib offer the pilgrims cold water and drinks, as well as free meals, most notably, sushi.
Activists said to Shia Waves News Agency: “One of the greatness of the revolution and renaissance of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) is that it united all hearts. His pilgrimage is not limited to Shia Muslims now, but adherents of various religions and sects participate in it.”
They added that “the attitude of the Chinese workers is very beautiful and confirms to us the greatness of our faith and our belief in the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), whom God (glory be to Him) has sent for the guidance and reform of all mankind.”
