Quranic stations project launched on Arbaeen Pilgrimage

The Holy Quran House at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine launched the Quranic stations project during the Arbaeen Pilgrimage, which is held under the supervision of the preaching project of the Hawza and along the roads leading to the holy city of Karbala.

The official of the Quranic Preaching Center, Karrar Al-Shammari, said, “In order to take advantage of the influx of millions of pilgrims heading to visit Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) on the anniversary of the Arbaeen, the Quranic stations project was launched in the province of Basra and includes a set of programs and activities for pilgrims, including teaching the recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah and the shortest surahs, as well as other Quranic activities.”

Al-Shammari added, “The stations extend from the farthest starting point of the walk in the far south towards Karbala, and at the entrances to Karbala in front of the pilgrims’ cities and sites close to the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.
