Iranian Medical Convoy Heads to Karbala to Support Arbaeen Pilgrims
———————————
An Iranian medical convoy affiliated with the Iranian Red Crescent Society has departed for the holy city of Karbala to provide healthcare and medical assistance to pilgrims participating in the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), as millions of visitors begin arriving in Iraq.
The farewell ceremony for the convoy was attended by Iranian Red Crescent officials. The convoy includes medical and relief teams that will be deployed along pilgrimage routes and at designated service points to provide healthcare, first aid, and emergency medical support for pilgrims throughout the Arbaeen period.
Organizers said the initiative aims to ensure comprehensive medical coverage during the peak days of the pilgrimage, helping improve healthcare services and respond effectively to emergency situations.
