A train collision in Minya Province, Egypt, on Sunday resulted in 20 injuries as two carriages fell into an irrigation canal, VOA reported on Sunday.
The Egyptian National Railways (ENR) reported that the accident occurred when one train struck the rear of another traveling from Aswan to Cairo near Abu Qurqas. Emergency response teams were dispatched, including cranes and 23 ambulances, to assist at the scene.
Initial medical assessments revealed injuries such as bruises and superficial wounds, but no fatalities were reported.
