Wide solidarity with prisoner of conscience in Bahrain, Hassan Mushaima

Prisoner of Conscience Hassan Mushaima suffers from a difficult health condition inside the detention centers of the Bahraini authorities, while his son Mohammed has been protesting in front of the detention for days, to demand that his father be allowed to receive medical treatment.

 Social media witnessed widespread solidarity with Mushaima, as his son, Ali Mushaima, wrote on Twitter:

 “The daily sit-in in front of the Kanoo Center is in its tenth day, and my father still has not received medical treatment. This is a blatant example of the culture of tolerance and coexistence in Bahrain.”

Americans for Democracy & Human Rights in Bahrain said on its official website that: “The organization calls for the immediate and unconditional release of Professor Hassan Mushaima as a result of his deteriorating health condition for nearly a year and a half, so that he can obtain appropriate health care and avoid further danger that he faces due to willful negligence by the Bahraini authorities”.
