Bahrain: The office of the representative of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi covered in black in preparation to hold the holy Husseini rituals

The office of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority in Manama, Bahrain, Sheikh Abdul Shahid al-Satrawi, was covered in black on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Muharram.

The official website of the Shirazi Religious Authority stated in a brief news received by Shia Waves News Agency, that the office is making extensive preparations to receive the month of sorrows and the establishment of the holy Husseini rituals.

It is mentioned that in the months of Muharram and Safar for each year, large crowds of the followers of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, attend the office of the representative of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi to mourn the affliction of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

Members of Husseiniyat Matam al-Saken, which is affiliated with the Shirazi Religious Authority in Bahrain and supervised by Sheikh Abdul Shahid al-Satrawi, covered the place in black and raised Husseini banners, announcing its readiness to establish mourning ceremonies and mourn for Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
