Afghanistan: Laying the cornerstone for Imam al-Hadi Scientific School and Library of the Noble Quran in Ghazni city

The official website of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi announced laying the cornerstone for the Imam al-Hadi (peace be upon him) Scientific School and the Noble Quran Library and House in the Afghan city of Ghazni.

In a statement received by Shia Waves News Agency, the website stated that the foundation stone of the Imam al-Hadi Scientific School affiliated with the Shirazi Religious Authority in Ghazni was laid, adding that the school contains a library and a house for the Holy Quran, as well.

It explained that a group of scholars and dignitaries of the city attended the ceremony, which began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Then there were speeches delivered by Sheikh Ahmed al-Hasani, representative and public relations officer of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Kabul, and one of the members of the Shura scholars of Ghazni.
