Afghanistan Freedom Front Accuses Taliban of Using Public Areas as Human Shields

The Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) has accused the Taliban of allegedly deploying members of the Pakistani Taliban (TTP) in government buildings and densely populated areas, raising concerns about civilian safety in Afghanistan.

According to a statement reported by regional media outlets, including Hasht-e-Subh Daily, the AFF claimed that the Taliban has used public spaces and civilians as human shields, a tactic that could have serious humanitarian consequences. The group also criticized the Taliban for referring to the country’s security as “ironclad,” while regional tensions, including cross-border activity with Pakistan, reportedly continue in some areas.
