Germany blamed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the war and humanitarian crises in Yemen.
Germany’s ambassador to the United Nations, Christoph Heusgen, said that Saudi Arabia bears a lot of responsibility for what is going on in Yemen from war and humanitarian crises, at a time when international organizations confirm that the health system in the country collapsed amid the spread of the Coronavirus and other epidemics.
Heusgen added in statements that his country does not sell weapons to Saudi Arabia, and believes that there is no military solution to the conflict in Yemen.
He stressed the need for Saudi Arabia to contribute significantly to what will be presented in today’s virtual donors conference for humanitarian aid to Yemen.
