Quran competition for Bahraini Shias slated for March
The 15th edition of the Al-Dhikr ul-Hakim Quran competition for Bahrain’s Shia Muslims will be held in March.
The 15th edition of the Al-Dhikr ul-Hakim Quran competition for Bahrain’s Shia Muslims will be held in March.
According to Qaaf news agency, the motto of this year’s Quranic event is “There is a lesson in their stories” which has been taken from the verse 111 of Surah Yusuf ‘There was certainly in their stories a lesson for those of understanding’.
The Al-Dhikr-ul-Hakeem Quranic Sciences Association in Bahrain organizes the Quran competition for different age groups of Quran activists every year.
Registration for the competition is underway and will continue until January 25.
Quran recitation in different styles, memorization of the 30th Juz (part), and memorization of the last three Juzes, 15 Juzes, Surah Baqara and Al Imran, Quran interpretation and Quranic calligraphy are the categories of the competition.
