Syrian government forces have continued their operations against Takfiri terrorists across the country, making new gains and inflicting heavy losses on the terrorists.
According to reports on Wednesday, the ground and air forces of the Syrian army launched an operation against terrorists operating in the area of Joubar, located on the outskirts of the capital, Damascus. It was said that a number of terrorists were killed in the joint operation.
A unit of the Syrian army also killed all members of a terrorist group in an ambush near al-Samalil village in the countryside of the central province of Homs, Syrian official news agency, SANA, reported.
It was also reported that the Syrian army has established control over the strategic area of Tal Ahmar in the southwestern province of Quneitra.
