The central president of the banned takfiri Ahlel Sunnat Wal Jamaat or Sipah-e-Sahaba (ASWJ) Aurangzeb Farooqi was arrested near Taxila.
According to sources, Farooqi was arrested while he was travelling with his family on a personal trip.
Earlier that day he attended a rally in Murree , following which a First Information Report was registered against him at a Rawalpindi police station.
ASWJ, a reincarnation of the banned takfiri militant group Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP), had been banned in Feb 2012.
Despite the ban, ASWJ continues to practice their continuous killings of innocent Shias across the country.
