Imam Shirazi International Center hosts the twentieth Solidarity Meeting of Islamic Centers of Canada

The Imam Shirazi International Center and the Iranian Islamic Center hosted the twentieth Solidarity Meeting of Islamic Centers of Canada after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.  

In the beginning of the meeting Sheikh Saleh Sibaway conveyed the greetings of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq Husseini al-Shirazi.

 Sheikh Mohammad Mehdi Naseri, Sayyed Nabil Abbas, Sayyed Zafar Zaidi, Mr. Patrick Brown, Mufti Sheikh Hassan Ghiha and Professor Samar Majzoob were among the speakers at the meeting.

The event was also attended the President of the Conservative Party of Canada from Toronto, and the Iraqi Consulate Advisor, Sayyed Ali Yaseri.

More than twelve active centers and associations in Canada from different religious denominations and political groups participated at the invitation of the Imam Shirazi International Center and the Iranian Islamic Center.

It is worth mentioning that maintaining solidarity and unity among delegations, mosques and cultural centers is one of the recommendations of the Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq Husseini al-Shirazi, through his famous slogan “Hussein Unites Us”.
