Imam Ali Center in Sweden condemns the execution of dozens of Shias in Saudi Arabia


The Imam Ali Islamic Center in the Swedish capital denounced the Saudi regime’s perpetration of a heinous massacre against dozens of citizens, and called on international groups to condemn it.
In a statement, the center expressed its denunciation of what the Saudi authorities had done against dozens of citizens, stressing that it had received news of the execution of dozens of Saudi citizens, most of whom were from the Shia sect.
The statement stated that the Shias of Hijaz, especially the believers in Al-Ahsa and Qatif, have proven over the past years that they are looking for coexistence with others, and despite that they are subjected to the worst kinds of punishments and brutal attacks by extremists and the Saudis.
The statement called on the international community and international humanitarian organizations to condemn this crime without any political consideration, and stressed the need to put pressure on the leaders of the Saudi regime to force them to respect different opinions and ideas in this country.
