Shirazi-affiliated Centres Hold Celebrations Commemorating Blessed Birthday of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her)
A festive celebration marking the birthday of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her) was held at the Shirazi-affiliated Ale-Yasin Mosque and Hosseiniyah in Sydney, Australia, on Saturday, coinciding with the 19th of Jumada al-Thani.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of numerous Shia believers who gathered to express and listen to the virtues and merits of Lady Fatimah (peace be upon her). Attendees participated in recitations of poetry and hymns in her honor, creating a vibrant atmosphere of devotion and celebration.
In another event in Mahajanga, Madagascar, the Ahl al-Bayt Center, affiliated with the Office of Grand Ayatullah Shirazi, hosted its weekly Tawassul ceremony, drawing a significant turnout of faithful participants. During the ceremony, attendees engaged in prayers and supplications, seeking intercession from the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). Hujjat-ul-Islam Sheikh Mohammad Reza Vasram, the director of the Supreme Marja’s office in Mahajanga, delivered a speech, enriching the spiritual experience for all present.
In Karbala, Iraq, the Ahl al-Bayt Servants Association, one of the centers affiliated with the Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, has been actively involved in commemorating the auspicious occasion of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra’s (peace be upon her) birthday. Over the past few days, joyous gatherings have taken place, featuring prayers and celebrations in tribute to Lady Fatimah (peace be upon her). Many believers, including notable religious, cultural, and social figures, participated in these events, highlighting the deep reverence held for her legacy within the community.
The Kazimayn-based al-Rasul al-A’azam Institute, an active center affiliated with his Eminence, also held a similar festive event to mark this auspicious occasion.
The honourable residence of Grand Ayatullah Shirazi in Qom also held a Majlis to honour the blessed birth anniversary of the Lady of the Worlds, during which faithful believers and scholarly personalities engaged in remembrance of the virtues of Her Majesty and prayed for the reappearance of Her Avenger, the Awaited Imam al-Mahdi, May Allah hasten his blessed reappearance.
