Al-Abbas Holy Shrine holds Third Quranic Contest in London
The London Branch of al-Abbas Holy Shrine’s Holy Quran Institute held the Third Quranic Contest for Recitation in cooperation with the Imam Al-Khoei Charitable Foundation in the British capital.
The London Branch of al-Abbas Holy Shrine’s Holy Quran Institute held the Third Quranic Contest for Recitation in cooperation with the Imam Al-Khoei Charitable Foundation in the British capital.
Three age groups participated in the contest: Minors aged 7-10 years, Adolescents aged 11-15 years, and young adults aged 16-23 years, who numbered 32 readers from different British cities, and under the supervision of a jury panel composed of professors specializing in Quran recitation.
The closing ceremony, which was attended by scholars, Quranic professors and Ahlulbayt followers, witnessed a speech by the supervisor of the institute’s London branch, Sheikh Dia Al-Din Al-Zubaidi.
