Oxford University researches developing international museums in Karbala

In a workshop held by the museum of the Imam Hussein Shrine, titled “Museum Management,” the curator of Imam Hussein Museum, Dr. Alaa’ Dheya EdDeen, said, “We’ve conducted this workshop in cooperation with curators of international museums, and we discussed matters such as displaying antiquities, lighting, and the increase and decrease of visitor turnout.”

He added that a great deal of curators, from Iraq, India, Germany, British Academy, and Ashmolean Museum at the Oxford University, in addition to the representative of Britain’s Ministry of Culture attended the workshop.

Dheya EdDeen concluded that the participants were presented with certificates of participation issued by the British Academy and Ashmolean Museum at the Oxford University.
