Japan’s ambassador to Iraq Fumio Iwai visited Imam Ali Holy Shrine

 

Japan’s ambassador to Iraq Fumio Iwai visited Imam Ali Holy Shrine and was informed of the historical monuments located around the holy site.

The head of Internal Relations in Imam Ali Holy Shrine, Mr. Mazen al-Asadi, presented a brief overview of the shrine’s history in addition to the expansion projects being implemented by the General Secretariat for the purpose of serving the beloved pilgrims.

Iwai said, “The visit to Najaf was within a tour to see the holy places in the city as well as to offer our expertise in investment and infrastructure for contributing in the projects of the province.”
