Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation Continues Water Distribution Campaign, Providing 1.5 Million Bottles to Hussaini Processions

The Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Cultural and Charitable Affairs, operating under the supervision of the office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi in the holy city of Karbala, has continued its special service programs for the Arbaeen pilgrimage season by implementing a large-scale drinking water distribution campaign for Hussaini service processions.
The initiative aims to support the thousands of Hussaini processions and service centers assisting millions of Arbaeen pilgrims. As part of the campaign, the foundation is distributing 1.5 million bottles of drinking water to meet the essential needs of visitors during the pilgrimage.
According to the foundation, water supplies are being provided not only to pilgrims but also to Hussaini processions, mosques, Hussainiyas, religious gatherings, and homes hosting visitors during Arbaeen, helping ensure access to basic necessities throughout the pilgrimage period.
The campaign has gained particular importance due to rising temperatures during the Arbaeen season and is intended to ease the conditions for pilgrims visiting the shrine of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
The water distribution project is being carried out in cooperation with the Imam Hussein Media Group and the Imam Hussein Charitable Organization (IHC), representing cooperation between cultural, humanitarian, and service organizations dedicated to serving Arbaeen pilgrims.
The Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation annually organizes various humanitarian and service initiatives during Arbaeen, reflecting the values of solidarity, generosity, and devotion that characterize the global gathering in Karbala.
