The office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husayni al-Shirazi in the holy city of Karbala held a series of mourning gatherings and religious lectures during the Arbaeen commemoration of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).

In recent days, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Mohammad Saleh Qazvini delivered lectures as part of the gatherings, discussing various aspects of the movement of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).

Reviewing the events of Ashura and the events of Karbala in 61 AH, he explained the different dimensions of the uprising of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), as well as the spirit of sacrifice and selflessness and the lofty objectives of his divinely inspired movement.
