Al-Ihtejaj ala Ahlul Lujaj or ‘Invoking the Garrulous’ is a book written by Abu Mansoor Ahmed bin Ali bin Abi Talib al-Tabarsi, a Shia scholar from the sixth century Hijri, that discuss the theme of dialogues and debates that took place between the infallibles, peace be upon them, and the Sunnis in various religious subjects.

Al-Tabarsi said that the motivation behind writing this book wasthat a group of companions dissuaded the way of invoking an argument, even if it was right, and saying that the Prophet, peace be upon him, and the Imams, peace be upon them, have never argued, instead they restrained it, for that I wrote a book containing verses of argument with the opposition.

The book of invocation is one of the most important books approved by Muslim scholars.
