Nonviolence Organization releases message on Word Humanitarian Day
The International Nonviolence Organization, Free Muslim, has reaffirmed in a new message that humanity is currently in dire need of humanitarian work to achieve prosperity, security and dignity.
The Organization’s message was released yesterday, Saturday, in commemoration of the World Humanitarian Day, which is marked on the 19th of August.
The message, seen by Shia Waves Agency, stated that, “Given the critical time the whole of humanity is experiencing due to armed conflicts, humanitarian work is now a necessity.”
It explained that “the international divisions and political conflicts have become a defining characteristic of the ruling forces and regimes that claim to be committed to international covenants to ensure global security and peace,” warning that “these divisions and conflicts, if persist, could lead to a global war.”
The Free Muslim pointed out in its message that “The Russian-Ukrainian war has unveiled the depth of differences between the ruling authorities, and showed the extent of the disregard towards peace and security,” noting that “All those parties are in pursuit of political and economic interests.”
The Organization called on the UN General Assembly to “exert more efforts to stop the ongoing unprecedented decline at the international political level, take serious action to reduce the ongoing challenges through mediation and the search for timely solutions to stop the international war in Ukraine, and urge its parties to return to dialogue to resolve their disputes.”
