Imam Hussein Holy Shrine sets up special covers around Holy Shrine for pilgrims of Arbaeen

As the event of Arbaeen approaches, the Technical Department of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine is setting up huge Sun Shades around the Holy Shrine using new technology.

This project, covering five thousand square meters of outdoor space, is aimed at creating a suitable space for Hosseini mourners and pilgrims during the Arbaeen event, and has fortunately made good progress so far.

“The technical staff of the Holy Shrine are setting up massive Sun shades in the outdoor spaces adjacent to the Holy Shrine to prevent direct sunlight and reduce the heat in order to create a suitable environment and improve the comfort of the pilgrims during the Arbaeen event,” stated Engineer Abdul-Hassan Mohammad Mazloum, Head of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine’s maintenance department, in a press interview followed by the Shia Waives Agency.

He also pointed out that this operation covers the area of Bab al-Ras al-Sharif to the courtyard of Aqeela Bani Hashim, peace be upon her, and in the second stage, the area of Bab al-Qibla of Imam Hussain, peace be upon him, towards the courtyard of Imam Hassan al-Mojtaba, peace be upon him, as well as Shohada Street and all the roads that lead to Sayyida Zainab’s courtyard.
