US: Shia communities launch central mourning procession in Los Angeles over Ashura
The Shia followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, in the US State of Los Angeles launched a central mourning procession through the streets of the state to commemorate the painful Ashura of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
Shia Waves Agency obtained a footage showing a crowd of loyalists of Imam Hussein, peace be upon them, listening to one of the Hussayni Mullas reciting in English mourning poems over the tragedy of Karbala.
The mourners appeared beating their chests with sadness and pain over the great injustice that befell the pure Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, on the land of Holy Karbala, with bystanders and other citizens looking at them with amazement.
The Shia communities across the US, who Iraqis, Iranians, Pakistanis and others, are committed to reviving the rituals of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and to spread his humanitarian values and his resistance to corruption and deviation.
Women also participate in establishing mourning processions accompanied by their children, to instil in them the values and teachings of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
