More than 1800 volunteered to clean Holy Karbala on Day of Ashura

The municipality of Karbala announced on Monday the mobilization of its technical and engineering resources for the implementation of a comprehensive service plan to receive the pilgrims of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) in Ashura as well as to revive Hussaini ceremonies and rituals.

The municipality of the holy city of Karbala has prepared all its facilities for the implementation of the plan to revive the anniversary of Husseini Ashura, announced Engineer Hassan Mohammad Ali Al-Sharifi, director of Karbala municipality, in a press release that was followed by Shia Waives.

He also stated that more than 500 specialized heavy machines have been prepared for this noble service.
