Pakistani Shias prepared for Ghadir, Ashura conferences
The Shia Ulema Council has announced in a statement that, as in previous years, there are programs to hold nationwide conventions on the occasion of Eid Ghadir and welcoming the month of Muharram.
The statement notes that the Council’s missionaries of each city will participate in the conferences held in different parts of the provinces, including Punjab.
According to the plans, Central Punjab Scholars and Missionaries Conference will be held on July 5 in Sargodha city, North and South Punjab Scholars and Missionaries Conference will be held on July 12 and 16 in Gujrat and Kudet Addo.
The Shiites of Pakistan and the followers of the Pure Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) all over the country enthusiastically celebrate the Eid of Wilayat and Imamate of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) by attending the mosques and Hussainiyas, and organizing magnificent celebrations.
Pakistani Shias also organize Eid al-Ghadir celebrations by decorating mosques and public places in their cities and districts.
