Northampton Annual Majlis commemorating the martyrdom of Sayeda Fatima

Northampton hosts its annual majlis commemorating the martyrdom of Sayeda Fatima, peace be upon her.

This is known as Europe’s largest majlis also marking it as their 21^st annual majlis.

The program starts at 6:30am with traditional Pakistani breakfast and several speakers and reciters take to the mimbar to recite poetry in honour of the Ahlulbayt and the oppression that they had faced.

The program had over 20 speakers and reciters that had travelled from parts of India and Pakistan including world renowned reciters such as Sayed Farhan Ali Waris, Molana Bilal Kazmi and Sayed Sibtain.

In attendance there were thousands of men, women and children who gathered in the center.
