Iraq’s Shiite Tombs Bureau develops, reconstructs blessed sites in Tikrit

The Shiite Tombs Bureau affiliated to the Iraqi Shiite Endowment Organization announced the continued development and restoration of the blessed sites of the city of Tikrit in Iraq.

“The holy shrines of the Infallible Pure Imams of the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, and their children, shine like a bright light on the surface of the earth.

They illuminate the path of guidance, and therefore, it is necessary to make all efforts to preserve them.” Said Mohammed Abbas Shanun, Deputy director of the Iraqi Shiite Tombs Bureau.

He further added: This project has been in progress for several months, and is being carried out at a fast pace with the purpose of offering better service to pilgrims to Iraq.

He also noted that: among these graves are the grave of “Sayyed Muhammad Abul Hassan Akbari” and the grave of Sayyed Muhammad Ibn Imam Hadi, peace be upon him.
