Misbah al-Hussein Foundation starts strategic planning project to eliminate the poverty of Iraq’s orphans

Misbah al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development, affiliated to the Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, in the holy city of Karbala, initiated a strategic planning project to eliminate the poverty of Iraq’s orphans.
Head of the Foundation, Sheikh Mustafa al-Muhammadi, said in a statement that it’s been decided that the government and the Iraqi Council be invited to form an organization or institution to allocate a financial budget dedicated for the orphans in Iraq.
Al-Muhammadi added that the Foundation has various programs in order to provide welfare and work for orphans, including employing them with monthly salaries, providing food, establishing educational courses to teach them skills and crafts, as well as setting up individual development education courses and other facilities for study.
It is worth mentioning that the new charitable project from Misbah al-Hussein Foundation comes following the directives of the Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi on the need to sponsor orphans.
