Activists confirmed to Shia Waves that Communist China continues genocidal approach towards Uyghurs

Communist China continues its acts of organized violence, persecution and genocide against the Uyghur Muslims residing in East Turkestan, depriving them of practicing their religious rituals.

In their statements to Shia Waves Agency, religious activists confirmed that, “Uyghur Muslims in East Turkestan are still banned from exercising their religious rituals, and they were prevented from fasting this Ramadan and not allowed to celebrate Eid al-Fitr.”

The activists added that, “Thousands of the Uyghurs are been locked in detentions that the Chinese authorities built specifically to humiliate them and to intentionally destroy their cultural and religious identity.”

Human rights organizations have criticized the oppressive practices and measures the Chinese government uses against the Uyghur Muslims, with reports stating that China has committed possible genocide against this minority.
