Afghanistan: ‘Imam Hadi’ charitable Foundation dispatches emergency relief to families in Ghazni
The Imam al-Hadi (peace be upon him) Charitable Foundation, one of the centers that operate under the auspices of the Supreme Religious Authority Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has announced that it had dispatched emergency relief to a large number of Shia families of orphans and disadvantaged people in the Afghan city of Ghazni.
In an interview with Shia Waves Agency, the Foundation’s administration said: “Many Afghan Shia families are going through very difficult living conditions that require constant assistance.”
It continued that, “Based on the commandments of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, and out of concern for the lives of the Afghan Shias and in an effort to respond to their food needs, the Foundation sent food packets to many needy and poor families.”
The Foundation affirmed that it “will not stop supporting and aiding the Afghan families and followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), as these humanitarian efforts come based on what charitable institutions affiliated with the Shirazi Authority provide.”
It is worth noting that the Foundation revealed earlier that it sponsors more than (2000) orphans in Iran and Afghanistan.
