Grand Ayatollah Shirazi’s address to Ramadan Annual Women’s Gathering on demise anniversary of Sayyeda Khadija
The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, held his annual address on the night of the tenth of the blessed month of Ramadan, at the Ramadan Annual Women’s Gathering, at his honorable house in Holy Qom.
His Eminence’s speech coincided with the sorrowful death anniversary of Sayyeda Khadija, peace be upon her, which is marked on the tenth of Ramadan.
Grand Ayatollah Shirazi confirmed that the Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, praised Sayyeda Khadija and gave her a special attention and lofty position.
In his important speech, His Eminence also encouraged and advised the youth to study in Bihar al-Anwar Book the tragedies that the Prophet’s uncle, Abu Talib, peace be upon them all, had endured during his life.
The Supreme Religious Authority reiterated that learning the true rituals, beliefs and Sharia is an obligation that must be addressed in the blessed month of Ramadan, and emphasized the need for defending Allah Almighty, the Prophet and his family peace be upon them.
He also stressed the importance of using technology defend to expose the crimes and atrocities of the Umayyad and Abbasid dynasties, and their ways in silencing and torturing their opponents.
