The Iraqi Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities announced that the construction works on (Nakhib – Holy Karbala) road are continuing.
The ministry said in a statement received by Shia Waves Agency, that “the project, which is 95 kilometers long and 7.5 meters wide, is being implemented under the supervision of the Roads and Bridges Department through the Ashur General Contracting Company, both affiliated to the ministry, at a cost of 7 billion Iraqi dinars.”
71% of the project has been completed and it is worthnoting that it will this road is important as pilgrims to on Hajj season travel though it.
