The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) launched on Thursday, Feb. 9th, a daring operation in the Misri Banda area of Risalpur Police Station in Nowshera District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan.
The mission was to apprehend members of the known terrorist groups Sipah Sahaba/Lashkar Jhangvi.
As the CTD team approached the suspected hideout, they were met with a barrage of hand grenades and heavy gunfire.
Despite the odds against them, the brave officers displayed exceptional bravery and determination as they persevered through the challenging situation.
The operation resulted In the successful elimination of two terrorists, who have been identified as Muhammad Zeeshan alias Usman and Salman alias Emirati.
However, it is believed that two or three terror suspects were able to escape during the raid.
