Shia Muslims prepare to commemorate Arbaeen of Imam Ali, martyrdom of Imam Al-Sadiq

Imam Ali Holy Shrine and the organizers of Hussaini processions in Holy Najaf have announced their readiness to commemorate the Arba’een anniversary of Imam Ali and the martyrdom of Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq, peace be upon them.

The Holy Shrine said in its statement that there will be a significant influx of pilgrims from inside and outside Iraq to commemorate these two great occasions, highlighting the necessary preparations and programs for their commemoration.

Additionally, the Hussaini Processions Authority announced their preparations to receive mourning processions to commemorate the two great occasions, emphasizing the implementation of plans to organize and ensure the smooth flow of pilgrims.

So far, the authority has recorded approximately 180 processions that will perform mourning rituals in the vicinity of the holy shrine, in addition to several processions that will hold mourning gatherings inside the sacred shrine.
