The Indonesian website, kompas, said today, Wednesday, in a report it published that the divine blessings surrounding the shrine of Sayyida Zainab, daughter of Imam Ali (peace be upon them) in the Syrian capital, Damascus, drove dangers of the earthquake away.

The report, which was translated by (Shia Waves Agency), stated that “the effects of the 7.7 earthquake that struck Syria and Turkey left thousands of victims and destroyed buildings, and it was very close to the Syrian capital, Damascus, which embraces the shrine of Sayyida Zainab (peace be upon her).”

It continued, “Despite the shrine of Sayyeda Zainab was built long time ago, dating back to hundreds of years, it miraculously survived the devastating earthquake, and this is due to the divine blessings that surround this honorable shrine.”

The report also sheds light on the history of the construction of the pure shrine, which was built to embrace the pure body of Sayyeda Zainab, the daughter of Imam Ali (peace be upon them both), referring to the pains and sorrows that this great woman was subjected to after the martyrdom of her brother, Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) in Karbala.

It is worth mentioning that yesterday, 15th of Rajab, was the martyrdom anniversary of Sayyeda Zainab, peace be upon her.
