Free Muslim stresses importance of preserving the lofty beliefs calling for equality and non-discrimination among human beings

On the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, the International Nonviolence Organization, Free Muslim, stressed the importance of preserving the lofty beliefs calling for equality and non-discrimination between human beings.
A statement by the organization, received by Shia Waves Agency, stated, “Thousands are still suffering under violence, marginalization and harm due to racist practices based on religious, sectarian or ethnic motives.”
It added, “The International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination was adopted by the United Nations after a series of extensive deliberations and discussions that seek to combat this inhuman phenomenon, and work to besiege it and confront those who believe the preference of an individual or a people because of an intellectual or material reason over other human beings.”
The organization expresses its regret for the racist statements made by personalities who represent political regimes claiming non-discrimination and their keenness to create a general phenomenon of equality between human beings.
Free Muslim called on Western societies that adopt human rights standards as normative foundations for their political systems to review their recent positions, hold accountable and exclude abnormal voices with arrogant and racist thoughts, and try to repair the rift caused by them.
The organization stressed the importance of preserving the lofty beliefs calling for equality and non-discrimination between human beings, and the preservation of agreed principles, especially in times of crisis.
