University of Münster organizes a course on Islam and the Holy Quran

The German University of Münster is organizing a scientific course entitled “Islam in Social Services”, where the participants discuss social services from the perspective of the teachings of the Islamic religion and the Noble Qur’an.
The University of Münster launched a new academic course for its students under the name “Islam in Social Services”, an educational course targeting imams and social service employees.
And 25 willing participants participate in the first educational session, which aspires to continue in the long term.
Head of the Center for Islamic Law at the German University of Munster, Muhannad Khurshid, said that the course will focus on students’ use of the teachings of Islam and the Qur’an in providing social service.
He added, “The participants should also learn the necessity of combating extremism and the importance of respecting the basic values of German society.”
