Imam Hussain Holy Shrine launches the first international Kawthar al-Ismah Festival

The activities of the Kawthar al-Ismah International Festival were launched at the holy courtyard of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, on the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima al-Zahraa, peace be upon her.
A large gathering of officials, academics and researchers from Iraq, Oman, Syria, Jordan and Tunisia attended, and the ceremony began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran.
The Chief Cleric of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi al-Karbalaey, highlighted in his lecture, aspects of the biography of Lady Fatima al-Zahraa, peace be upon her, and her role in the renaissance of Islam.
Al-Karbalaey added that al-Zahraa, peace be upon her, is a model of courage and patience.
A group of elegists from the Holy Shrine recited a poem in honor of the auspicious occasion.
